Plympton is a literary studio that innovates in digital publishing.
Through partnerships, we are behind Recovering the Classics, helped power the Subway Library in New York City, run the literary CODEX Hackathon, created a curated mobile reading service, produced a virtual reality adaptation of George Saunders’ Lincoln in the Bardo, helped launch the Twitter Fiction Festival, and are currently building a collection of children’s eBooks.

George M. Rush is an attorney who has practiced law since 2001. George received his JD from University of California Hastings College of the Law (2000) and received his undergraduate degree in English from University of California at Berkeley (1996). He is dedicated to supporting independent filmmakers, stewarding them in the business and legal issues to make films both commercial and artistic successes. His clients include producers, directors, screen-writers and investors in development, production and distribution phases of filmmaking.

THE BLACK LIST
WHERE FILMMAKERS & WRITERS MEET
The Black List, an annual survey of Hollywood executives' favorite unproduced screenplays, was founded in 2005. Since then, more than 400 Black List scripts have been produced, grossing over $26 billion in box office worldwide. Black List movies have won 53 Academy Awards from 262 nominations, including 4 of the last 10 Best Picture Oscars and 10 of the last 22 Best Screenplay Oscars. In October of 2012, the Black List launched a unique online community where screenwriters make their work available to readers, buyers and employers. In only three years, a half dozen films have been produced from scripts introduced on the website including Golden Globe-nominated NIGHTINGALE, starring David Oyelowo. The Black List hosts over 3,500 scripts for consideration by over 5,000 film industry professionals.
